Princess Vel 980 (now deceased) has been the anchor cow in our donor program. She is the “never miss” Pathfinder cow that we have been searching for. 980 is a maternal sister to the GENEX Pathfinder sire, HARB Denali 788 JH. She has quite the list of credentials. Princess Vel Z88 is a daughter of the great Princess Vel 980 and is a main donor in our Embryo Transfer Program. Making her a maternal sister to the great sons that 980 has produced like, Hindquarter, Overhaul, Trademark, Stockton, and Law Dog, and Logo 1287. We have several daughters in our herd from Z88 that have done a good job so far and expect to see a lot more out of them in the future. Her biggest accomplishment to date was when she produced D A R Propel T085, our high selling bull in 2020 to Molitor Angus Ranch for $14,500. Propel has been used in our AI and ET program as well so there will be years of Z88 influence in our herd moving forward. Maxine P104 is deemed as the best cow that we have ever raised on the ranch. She is from the great Maxine cow family, named after the “backbone” of the ranch Grandma Maxine, Jeff’s Mother. P104 is the dam of in house herdsire, D A R Turbo R146 who sired our top selling bull in the 2020 bull sale, D A R Propel T085 ($14,500 to Molitor Angus Ranch, Zenda Kansas) She also produced the 2nd High selling bull in the 2018 Private Treaty sale, D A R Magnum R108 (Weltmer Farms, Kansas) which is a full brother to Turbo.
